Discover how much Business Class value is hidden inside your business expenses.
Your business already pays suppliers, payroll and the ATO. See what those payments could unlock when points are used properly.
From 1 October 2026 Merchants can no longer add a card surcharge on covered card payments, so paying a supplier on a points-earning card carries no surcharge.

How does your business pay its bills each year?
Two rough numbers are all it takes, and you can change them any time. Bank transfers earn points too, through Pay.com.au, for a small fee.
Your card’s annual fee isn’t included. Earn caps and some payees’ own processing fees can still apply.
Suppliers, stock, software and ads on Amex, Visa or Mastercard (2.25 points per $1 on a typical Amex business card).
Payroll, ATO/BAS, rent and contractors by EFT, via Pay.com.au. Loan repayments and interest usually don’t count.
How card + Pay.com.au work together
Starts from an example of A$1M a year across card and bank transfer. Change the numbers above to see your own.
There are smarter ways to route some of these payments for more points at a lower cost. That’s what we map out on your call.
Why you need both running
- Card points are the cheapest, but they’re capped. Card limits, earn caps and suppliers who won’t take a card all limit how much you can earn that way.
- A reward seat needs the full points. You can’t book part points, part cash, so falling short means no seat. Pay.com.au turns payroll, the ATO and your other bills into points, and that’s what gets you to full seats.
- The skill is running both together. How it all works, and how the numbers stack up for your business, is the advice and guidance in the Travel Wealth System.
Where would you fly Business Class?
Seat cost with points versus cash. All flights priced ex-Sydney.
Cost basis: card spend carries no surcharge; bank transfers via Pay.com.au cost 1.8% and earn 2 PayRewards points per $1. Taxes on each flight are included.
Here’s what your spend could book.
Your $1M spend earns 2.9 Sydney to London Business Class return flights each year.
Running both is what makes it work. Card spend keeps each London Business Class return seat to $6,590 (versus $7,774 if everything went through Pay.com.au), and Pay.com.au lifts you from 1.2 to 2.9 seats a year.
We kept this conservative: 2.25 points per $1 on card and 2 per $1 through Pay.com.au (about 1 airline point per $1 once transferred). Some set-ups earn more, and we’ll check yours on the call.
