How To Do Yoga On An Airplane

It’s been said that 'sitting is the new smoking’. If that’s the case, then being trapped in an airplane seat for hours isn’t ideal for our bodies.
I love to move about the cabin when I fly. It’s important to keep your body limber and active, avoiding that unpleasant numbness feeling from being stuck to a seat. If traveling for business, I want to arrive at my destination feeling fresh, in both body and mind.
That’s why I like yoga. And who said you can’t try it at 35,000 feet? Luckily for me, today I’m flying in a first class suite using points. This gives me plenty of room, and being a long-haul flight, plenty of time too.
Okay, time for some yoga moves…
First, clear and ease the mind…
Stretch out…
Up dog…
Down dog…
Time for some lunges…
Try a shoulder stand…
Stretch those arms…
If only I had an instructor onboard…
